Let’s Go!

The past few months have flown by. For years we have dreamed about this journey and it’s quite exciting that we are really going! In one week we will trade our parents’ home for two bicycles and a tent. Over the past few months, we’ve been busy with many preparations, like moving out of our apartment, purchasing gear and working hard to achieve our savings goal. Luckily we could go on some (mini) cycling holidays in between.

Now that we are about to leave, we have also found out about Warmshowers. A hospitality network, as the more known Couchsurfing, but solely for cyclists. People can register if they would like to host cyclists, or want to find a place to sleep themselves. To our surprise, we have already been invited by three German families. We are very curious to see how we will experience this. This, and all the experiences that will come, are we going to share via the blog. We will also update the actual cycled route as often as possible and we will share photos through Instagram.

We would like to thank everyone who is going to follow our adventure. We have already received many reactions and we certainly appreciate that! If you do not want to miss any blog post, you can subscribe to our blog on the bottom or right side of this page.

The first few weeks we will be cycling through Germany, Austria and the Balkans. If you any advice or tips, please leave a comment!

  1. I have noticed you don’t monetize your page, don’t waste your traffic,
you can earn extra bucks every month. You can use the best adsense alternative for any type of website (they approve all
websites), for more details simply search in gooogle: boorfe’s tips monetize your website

  2. Hi. I see that you don’t update your site too
often. I know that writing articles is boring and time consuming.
But did you know that there is a tool that allows you to create new articles using existing content (from article directories or other blogs from your niche)?
And it does it very well. The new articles are unique and pass the
copyscape test. You should try miftolo’s tools

  4. prepare for a lifechanging trip !!! I’m jealous just thinking of it. My advice, go with the flow, don’t plan ahead and stretch – stretch – stretch. Enjoy the ride

ps when it gets bad, know that it will get better eventually!

  5. Good luck! How many kilometers are you going each day? And how many gears do your bikes have? (just curious :D)

    1. Hi Irina. Thank you! We are thinking of an avarage of 80 km a day. Probably a bit less in winter. We have a 3×10 MTB drivetrain, very versatile 🙂

  6. Superplan!
